A large British supermarket offers shoppers free wine in March – as long as they assess them on social media.
Aldi has launched his own 'Wineefencer Club', looking for Piggyback from successful 'Wine Influencers', which assess different wines online, with the help of social media sites such as Instagram and Tiktok.
It works together with influencer Liam d'Arcy, who goes online 'The Wine Wally', who will advise shoppers how they can become the next rising star of social media.
Mr. D'Arcy, who has 104,000 Instagram followers and 29,000 Tiktok followers, will be a mentor for the members of the clubs while helping them create memorable reviews.
The supermarket selects ten people to be part of the club, which will then judge different types of Aldi wine for the next three months – all free.
The catch is that they have to share their assessments on social media so that the world can see.
Those who become a member of the exclusive new club must submit an application before March 18.
