Millions of people scrape themselves for serious storm winds, heavy rain and huge tides, because tropical cyclone Alfred will land within a few days.
New modeling has predicted that the Cycloon is expected to hit Brisbane on Thursday while striking and causing damage in Southeast Queensland and North-East-NSW.
Thomas Hinterdorfer, from Higgins Storm Chasing, said Daily Mail Australia that the last time a tropical cyclone landed as a categorized system in southeastern Queensland was in March 1992.
Who, severe tropical cyclone Fran, led beaches to be closed on the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast, and train services canceled in Brisbane.
Coastal cities were flooded throughout the state, trees were uprooted and power was eliminated.
A third century later, Queenslanders will hope that history will not be fully repeated, but lifeguards have already closed dozens of beaches from Agnes Water in Gladstone to Currumbin on the Gold Coast on Sunday.
The state has been battered in recent days by strong wind and massive wave swelling, evacuated with the Hideaway Resort of Great Keppel Island last Thursday.
The two-system category, which has produced wind gusts of 220 km/h in the Coral Sea, is expected to be 'roughly parallel' on Sunday to the south of the coast of Queensland, before moving to the southeast on Monday.

“Alfred is then expected to have a delay and will probably go to the west from Tuesday and go back to the coast of South Queensland,” said the Bureau of Meteorology.
From Sunday morning, Alfred moved across the Coral Sea about 510 km east of Rockhampton and is expected to cause a strong to storm winds around K'Gari (Fraser Island) in the afternoon.
“Severe coastal hazards are probably for southern Queensland and Northeast New South Wales,” the agency said.
“A large and powerful to possible damage to the Eastern Wellingen and abnormal flood are predicted about exposed beaches in South Queensland, possibly extending to the north of New South Wales from Monday.”
Mr. Hinterdorfer said that the models they used suggested that Alfred would follow the west to Queensland all week.
“Nothing before Tuesday says that a landing is expected, but from Wednesday it will be a bit more interesting with the Modelscenarios if they are currently taking place,” he told the courier e-mail.
“There is absolutely the possibility to probably make on Wednesday or midweek, different models have that scenario right now, but of course we have to let them play a little more just before we lock it hard.”

On Sunday morning, Mr. Hinterdorfer Zuidoost-Queensland warned and the inhabitants of Noordoost-NSW to be prepared for landing.
“It is 33 years since a tropical cyclone lands as a categorized system in southeastern Queensland,” he wrote on Facebook.
“And it seems that the streak or drought is about to end … All models guidance continues to suggest that the tropical cyclone Alfred is expected to come to the Southeast Queensland next week.”
The Bureau of Meteorology encouraged residents and communities on the coasts of Queensland and Noord -NSW to stay up to date with the latest tropical Cyclone information and prediction tracks on its website in the coming days.
The southeastern Queensland is expected to be beaten with 150 mm of rain when Alfred makes landing as expected.
The Gold Coast is expected to see more than 200 mm in the coming days.
