Five prisoners are accused of serious attack after they reportedly attacked three officers during a desperate conspiracy to escape custody.
The peloton of male prisoners has reportedly tried to overpower the officers while trying to break it out from the Richlands Watchhouse, in southwestern Brisbane, shortly before 6 pm on Sunday.
The Queensland police claimed that the group initially went to an officer when their evening meals were brought into their cell before they tried to bust.
One of the men would then have reportedly tried to take the keys of the officer, while others concentrated their efforts on breaking down the cell door, which was already tampered with.
Two police officers and a watch officer would have suffered injuries when following Melee while the prisoners tried to flee.
The area was eventually locked up before the specialist police were called upon to protect the facility again.
All five prisoners were accused of a serious attack by an officer and escaping legal guardianship.
The news of the attempt at escape comes only a few days after two officers were reportedly stabbed with a syringe in Redcliffe Watchhouse, Noordoost -Brisbane.

The male and female officers, who will undergo testing of infectious diseases, would have been attacked on Thursday at 11 am.
The Queensland police claimed that a prisoner had hidden the needle while showering, but it is unclear how the alleged attack unfolded.
Queensland Police Union President Shane previously condemned the alleged attack and called on officers to be better protected.
“Being stabbed with a syringe is not only a horrible act of violence, but also brings a potential risk of illness and trauma,” he told News Corp.
'The safety of our police must always be of the utmost importance and it does not give me a pleasure to say that I feared that this kind of incident would take place in a watchhouse. I will say again that police watch houses are not a daycare center.
“My thoughts are with the wounded officers and their families. The trauma and the fear that they will endure in the coming months will be terrible.
'The police will do what we can do to help them. I really hope that they can recover and be confident to return to work at some point. '
