Sean 'Diddy' Combs and Luigi Mangione cannot visit for at least a month from friends and family after a 'racing riot' broke out in the prison of Brooklyn where both are housed.
In the last episode of the podcast of DailyMail.com The Trial of Diddy, the federal prison consultant Sam Mangel said that the Metropolitan Detention Center had been involved in a Melee after 'more than 40' people since last week.
While controversial prisoners such as Combs, Mangione and Sam Bankman baked were not housed in the area where the incident took place, the entire Brooklyn facility was placed on 'modified operation' at least the following month.
“He is now locked up, at least 23 out of 24 hours,” Mangel told the Daily Mail or Combs. 'I'm sure they allow him to shower at least three times a week, maybe to call, but that's it. So he is fed in his cell, it is a six by nine cell with a small bar in front of a window.
'If he wants to exercise in his cell, he can read in his cell. There are no TVs and that is where he is and will be the next month, except for legal visits. I know my client and other customers. I work closely with another consultant who is actually a Mangione's consultant. They scream for legal visits because it is the only time they can get out of their cells to see people, to communicate with people in a more open environment. '
Officials of the Federal Bureau of Prison confirmed to DailyMail.com that 'several' prisoners' were observed 'fighting' in the Brooklyn facility on 22 February.
Since his arrest last September, Combs has been in the metropolitan detention center of Brooklyn.
“Commenting employees isolated and the incident contained and in no time the public was in danger,” BOP spokesperson Donald Murphy told the DailyMail.com podcast.
MDC, with more than 1,600 prisoners, is notorious for its regrettable circumstances. In 2019, the prison made the headlines after prisoners had had days ago without heat or electricity during serious winter conditions.
Diddy has been locked up at MDC since he was arrested last year for sex trade and racketeering. He was denied bail several times.
Combs has strongly denied all allegations because they came to light for the first time and did not argue after initially charges had been filed.
Speaking of the last episode of The Trial of Diddy, Mangel said that combs and mangane are housed in a general population.
“They are not on a floor that would be susceptible to the riots,” said Mangel. 'They are on a floor with other controversial individuals who are the last thing they want to do is involved in the riots.

'So they are everyone's really separate floor. Now they are punished the same as everyone else in the facility. Unfortunately, although luckily why they might be safer. '
Officials of the Federal Bureau of Prison said there were injuries during the incident of 22 February.
“Multiple locked people were medically assessed and treated for minor injuries in the facility,” said Murphy. “Two prisoner persons suffered injuries that require external medical treatment.”
Murphy refused to comment on the injuries sustained by the prisoners involved in the fight. He added that no prison employees were injured.
Mangel said his sources in the federal prison said that more than 40 prisoners were involved in the Melee, the addition of racing riots are increasingly common.
“The facility cannot afford to have a striking, certainly every prisoner, but in this case a controversial prisoner is injured with another prisoner,” said Mangel. “And because the MDC is a dangerous place, of course look at what happened last Friday, not only from the point of view, they are terribly understaffed, there is a lot of racial tension, a lot of gang voltage, a considerable number of illegal immigrants are held there.”
Prisoners are still allowed to visit their lawyers so far, but visits from family and friends have been placed at MDC, said BOP officials.

Mangel said that prisoners are usually allowed in the general population form of 6 to 9 p.m. With the Lockdown, prisoners are now limited to their small cells 24 hours a day.
Mangel said that one of his customers, who is also housed on the same floor as Combs, has had interactions with the Chattered Bad Boy Mogul.
The prison consultant said that Diddy has seen a card game of kicking and board games with other prisoners.
“It was around the vacation time, so I believe he was just as depressed as any other man who was there who could not be with their family, because you have clearly limited visits and how long can be with someone and how many visitors can come in,” Mangel said. 'So it's a depressing time, but he was just as friendly and sympathetic as everyone else on that floor. I am sure he sometimes laughed.
'It is not a funny situation to be in, but they all look around and say in their opinion, a mockery of justice, it is that they are here. Because it has not yet sunk, they are all still for the pre-prosprial, so there is still a lot of optimism that they can hold. '
Although Combs is still awaiting the process and has denied all the charges, Mangel said that hiring a prison consultant as he would be wise to prepare for the worst scenario.
Mangel said that if Combs were found guilty, the 'safest' place to accommodate a controversial prisoner, the American penitentiary in Tucson, would be AZ where he would “have the chance to live his life.”
Mangel said that USP Tucson has a dedicated area for prisoners convicted of sexual offenses who have a higher level of protection.
“If I would consult him, if he was found guilty, I would work with his legal team to bring him to the best facility based on his punishment,” said Mangel.
'The strategy is to get him the most freedom as quickly as possible is something that I would like to work with him. But in the first place, if he is found guilty where he can bring him to a place where he is safe, that his family knows that he is safe, so that he can then set all the strategies that we can set for him, given those circumstances. '
