A high school from Texas that takes place until the First Lady at the address of Donald Trump to the congress was the victim of AI who generated deep fake revenge porn.
Elliston Berry was only 14 years old when she discovered that fake images of herself circulated around the Aledo High School in October 2023.
But Berry has since emerged from the ashes and has become a figurehead for the Take It Down Act – and joined Melania Trump at a conference on Monday to talk about the pain caused her moving past.
The edited teenager spoke eloquently while yesterday she was sitting next to the First Lady – where they discussed the relevant issues surrounding revenge pornography.
'[I was] I only expect a normal day, and I received countless phone calls and messages from my friends who told me that these nude images were going around, “Berry told Fox News.
'[They were going] Everywhere at school – Snapchat, Instagram, on all different social media. '
The images showed Berry's face, but a male classmate had taken photos of her private Instagram account and shown her nude using AI software, the Wall Street Journal reported.
A photo of Berry who stood on the deck of a cruise ship was changed to replace her clothing with a fake naked body. Other photos of her friends were generated with original beach photos.
“It was so realistic. It is child pornography. We really couldn't take care of her. We were helpless at that time. More and more photos came out during the first day until the second day, “her mother, Anna McAdams, told WFAA.

McAdams desperately tried to bring the social media platforms to take the photos, but was told by the companies that they could do nothing.
'Only when I went to Washington … and senator [Ted] Cruz realized that those photos are still there. I spent eight and a half months and he was able to get someone at Snapchat and they immediately dropped the bills within 24 hours, “she said.
McAdams reported the incident to the school and an investigation turned out that the perpetrator was her colleague classmate.
The Aledo Independent School District said that they worked with the Sheriff office during the investigation and the teenage boy was disciplined in accordance with the student legislation and the State Act '.
The indignant mother, however, said that he was forced to complete the semester in a separate building on campus and left the school that year after the winter break.
“He has a probationary period, a blow to the wrist, and then he is done at 6 pm. It will be taken away. But these photos can be from our girls forever, “said McAdams.
Cruz has collaborated with Berry and Mcadams to create the Take It Down Act, which increases protection for victims of non-consensual parts of sexual images that are known as 'Revenge Pornography' and that includes content generated by artificial intelligence, also known as deep fake porn.
It also requires that websites make a reasonable effort to remove the images within 48 hours after a complaint.
The law was passed in the Senate in February and Berry, now 15, joined Melania Trump to her first public comments of her second term of office as First Lady on Monday.

Berry shared her story while lobbying with the First Lady for an account that would make a federal crime to post revenge porn and deep fake online
“In the AI-driven world of today, the threat of infringements of privacy is alarmingly high,” she said.
'As First Lady, my dedication to the best initiative underlines the importance of online safety. In an era in which digital interactions are an integral part of daily life, it is absolutely necessary that we protect children against mean and offensive online behavior. '
Berry also shared her story at the event. “I was 14 years old when I was violated everywhere on social media,” she said.
'I came here today to not only promote this bill, but also to fight for the many survivors. It is so inspiring to know that my voice is being heard and gives hope to not only me, all the many people who have been affected by this. It is really so amazing how this terrible situation has become good. '
