Police officers who investigate Gene Hackman and the mysterious dead of his wife have admitted that she wrongly identified the dog who died in their house with them.
Hackman, 95, and his wife Betsy Arakawa, 63, were both dead in the $ 3.8 million house in separate rooms by a caregiver around 1.45 pm in Santa Fe, New Mexico, on Wednesday.

“Our representatives do not deal with dogs every day and I cannot currently speak with the condition or the state of the dog's body,” Denise Womack-Avila told the outlet.
