A 19-year-old woman was seconds of escaping a cyber truck crash in which two of her friends were killed before she was overwhelmed in flames and died.
Soren Dixon, Jack Nelson and Krysta Tsukahara, all 19, died in the fiery crash in Piedmont, California, at 3.08 hours local time on November 27.
Jordan Miller, 20, was pulled alive from the SUV and was severely burned, but survived after various operations and a long stay in the hospital.
The witness who saved Miller, said he tried to pull Tsukahara through the same window as she clambered from the back seat, but could not get her.
“I went back to the broken window and shouted that they are trying to go out in this window. Krysta tried to come up and stuck her head from the back.
'I grabbed her arm to try to pull her to me, but she withdrew because of the fire.
The second -year students were old friends who graduated from Piedmont High School in 2023 and were at home in the rich enclave for Thanksgiving of universities throughout the country.
California Highway Patrol, who led the crash investigation, described the desperate efforts of a witness to save the teenagers just after the impact.
The witness said he was at the same small party where the four students drank and they followed while Dixon drove it to Miller's house.

He briefly lost sight of the truck when it went around a bend, which could not negotiate a drunk and high cocaine Dixon, jumped the curb and crashed into a tree.
Faced with the destroyed truck, he ran to help and hit the front passenger window by beating it with a tree branch 10 to 15 times.
'I saw a car on fire between a wall and a tree sandwiched. I immediately knew that it was the cyber truck. [Miller] Was hardly aware, “he told the police.
“He had his seat belt and I couldn't reach it, so I shout at him to undo it. Eventually he could come loose. I was able to pull him up and out of the window. '
After he saved Miller, he went back to the car to try to save the others. Tsukahara was behind Miller and closest to the window.
The witness then described her moving but eventually failed attempt to escape.
The fire, which started at the front of the truck, spread over the vehicle through Miller's chair towards Tsukahara, so he tried to get through her window.
'I then picked up the stick again and started breaking the right rear window. I was able to break and pull the window out of the frame, but once I came in, the fire was found throughout the car, “he told the police.

CHP Troopers wrote in the report that the witness 'was unable to continue to help others … because of the seriousness of the fire'.
Police chef Jeremy Bowers said in the days after the crash that the witness was solo behind them and 'was able to pull the person out, but the nature of the vehicle was a cyber truck and the heat was just too intense'.
Dixon had a blood alcohol concentration of 0.195 and his blood samples tested positively on cocaine and meth, according to the toxicological results.
The report showed that the restriction of Dixon, combined with him who drove at an unsafe speed, led to that he was unable to negotiate over a bend in the road.
“Officers determined that a combination of driving under the influence of drugs and unsafe speed was the causes of this crash,” the report determined.
The witness told the police that Dixon drank about 'eight alcoholic beverages, ranging from beer and vodka' at the party before the group left.

They then went to Dixon's house so that he could get the cyber truck and bring them all to Miller's house.
Who owned the truck was edited from the report and it was not clear whether it was from Dixon, Miller or one of their parents.
Autopsies on the other victims discovered that they were also high on cocaine, and Tsukahara had an alcohol content in the blood at 0.028 and Nelson of 0.168.
Their deaths, ruled by accident by the coroner of Alameda County, were mainly caused by Asphyxia as a result of smoke inventation, but burns were a 'significant' contributing factor.
Miller was admitted to the Intensive Care department in a medically induced coma.
His mother, Samantha Miller, told DailyMail.com in December that he had been in a 'critical' condition after various operations.

Authorities said firefighters tried to put the fireball out with extinguishers, but the intensity of the flames was too hot.
All four involved in the crash were second -year students at universities throughout the country and were friends since high school.
Nelson and Dixon were stars in the Piedmont HS Lacrosse team and Nelson also played Junior Varsity Football and Varsity Voetbal with Miller.
Dixon continued to play Lacrosse at the University of South California and Nelson studied at the University of Colorado Boulder and joined the Sigma now Fraternity.
Tsukahara was in the golf team of the school and participated in the state and studied at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Georgia.
Miller was a second -year student at the University of Wisconsin, where his older sister also studied.
All four teenagers came from rich families whose houses were each worth several dollars.
