Veteran voice actor George Lowe died at the age of 67.
The actor and comedian is best known as the voice behind Space Ghost, at the Animated Series Space Ghost Coast to Coast.
In a message to Facebook, the old friend and broadcaster Marvin Boone revealed that Lowe had died of a long illness.
He said: “I am more than destroyed. My soaked brother and best friend for more than 40 years, George Lowe, died after a long illness.
“Some of me had also died. He was an extremely talented artist and voice actor. A really warm hearty genius. The funniest man on earth too.
“I stole jokes from him for decades. He has stolen part of me. He was also the voice of Space Ghost and much more. Pweeloto. '

Lowe started his career in the 1980s with incidental voice work before the titular character role was landed in the famous Cartoon Network series.
He would later continue with speech space in spin -offs 'Cartoon Planet' and appeared as the character in 'Aqua Teen Hunger Force'.
Rapper and colleague voter Chris MC, who appeared in Aqua Teen Hunger Force, also placed a tribute to Lowe.
He said: “So bummed to report that we lost George Lowe. Rest in peace my hero. He is the epicenter of infinite universes and will be missed enormously. '
