A Swedish woman fled the stage after he had drunk her car crashed in a hit and Run -Road Smash while she was on her way to confront her unfaithful lover with a secret affair, a court heard.
Caroline Martinsson, 33, lost control of her Vauxhall Astra and plowed in a wall while he was driving to demand a statement from her partner about claims she was cheated.
During the incident, Martinsson, a labor employee in Northwich, Cheshire, caused 'significant' damage to the wall, but she drove away and eventually dumped the vehicle in a nearby street.
The police shouted on the spot that she was in a field with tests that showed that she was the alcohol limit one and a half times.
At the Chester Magistrates Court, Martinsson argued guilty of Drink Driving and not stop at the location of an accident. She received a fine of £ 769 with £ 393 in costs and a victim surcharge and was not allowed to drive for 16 months.
The incident took place in February after Martinsson was told about the unbelieving claims during a stay in a friend's house.
It was said that she became 'emotional' and 'confused' and jumped into her car to confront her partner with the claims.

'The suspect then left the scene of the collision in the direction of Northwich. A constable cabin found the vehicle on Ollershaw Lane and he saw the damage at the front of the vehicle.
“The suspect was a short distance in a field in the neighborhood and when the officers spoke to her, she confirmed that it was her vehicle and also that she was the one who had driven there. The keys of the vehicle were also found on her person. On the scene, officers searched the vehicle and an open bottle of vodka was behind the vehicle. '
Tests showed that Martinsson had 52 micrograms of alcohol with a Swedish driver's license in 100 milliliters, the legal limit was 35 mg. She did not comment on the police interview.
Her lawyer Chris Hunt said in mitigation: 'She had gone to her friend's house and had a few drinks. She expected to stay overnight and was not going to drive.
'Although in her friend's house a very emotional situation was created with unfaithfulness of her partner.
'She was so confused about what she discovered that she was going to go and confronted her partner about it. She responded without the thought of alcohol. She thought she was fine to drive. That soon became clear that it was incorrect.
“Another vehicle rode close to her, she panicked and waved and hit the wall. Many people came out and opened the doors. She was very scared. It was late in the evening and she drove around the corner while she was scared. When the police spoke with her that she was completely cooperative, she did not have the upper hand. She has never been before the courts before.
“She is a working woman and a positive influence in the community. She is not a criminal. She works in the Autorade and has held a clean driver's license for 14 years. It was clearly a mistake on her part. She was together with the police. She argued guilty on the first occasion. There is the loss of her good character. She has no earlier beliefs, she is really repentant. '
Martinsson was given the opportunity to follow a rehabilitation course for Drive drive, which will reduce the ban by a quarter.
