Tropical Cyclone Alfred follows the west to the east coast of Australia.
The two -system category is on its way to the coast of Southeast Queensland and is expected to make landing at the end of Thursday or early Friday morning, probably between the Sunshine Coast and the Gold Coast.
A warning zone has been established from Double Island Point in Queensland to Grafton in New South Wales – including Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Byron Bay and Ballina but excluding Grafton.
