Kanye West raised eyebrows as he live-tweeted President Donald Trump’s State of the Union address to Congress on Tuesday for his 33.3 million X followers.
The Runaway artist, 47, posted a shot of the chamber with the caption, ‘TRUMPS ADDRESS.’
The Chicago native, and ex-husband of Kim Kardashian, later tweeted: ‘WOKENESS IS BAD WOKENESS IS TROUBLE ITS GONE THANK YOU PRESIDENT TRUMP.’
West said he and wife Bianca Censori, 30, got emotional watching Trump’s speech to Congress, adding, ‘Marc Fargols moment made me and my wife tear up just now Something about his mom being next to him.’
Dailymail.com has reached out to West’s rep Milo Yiannopoulos for comment on the rapper’s current standing with Trump and Elon Musk.
West and Trump have had their ups and downs, most famously amid an October 2018 meeting in the Oval Office during Trump’s first term.

Tension between the two manifested after a November 22, 2022 dinner in which West brought white nationalist Nick Fuentes (who has questioned if the Holocaust happened) to Mar-a-Lago in Florida for a meal with Trump.
Trump – who was out of office at the time but had just announced he was running again – subsequently distanced himself from Fuentes, saying he’d ‘never met and knew nothing about’ him prior to the meeting at his Palm Beach, Florida resort.
Trump subsequently said on Truth Social that he and West had gotten ‘along great’ during the meeting, which drew criticism from Trump’s former Vice President Mike Pence and former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.
‘Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, was asking me for advice concerning some of his difficulties, in particular having to do with his business,’ Trump said. ‘He expressed no anti-Semitism, & I appreciated all of the nice things he said about me on Tucker Carlson. Why wouldn’t I agree to meet? Also, I don’t know Nick Fuentes.’
Trump subsequently said in a November 29, 2022 interview on Fox News that he was unaware of views Fuentes had expressed publicly.
‘I had never heard of the man,’ Trump said of Fuentes. ‘I had no idea what his views were, and they weren’t expressed at the table in our very quick dinner, or it wouldn’t have been accepted.’
The remarks come weeks after West’s latest expansion of his swastika T-shirt line was condemned by multiple groups, including the Anti-Defamation League, who characterized the rapper’s X posts as ‘unacceptable and downright dangerous.’

The Flashing Lights artist last month posted another shock stream of posts, showcasing a new set of shirts and logos emblazoned with swastikas to his 33.3 million followers on the platform.
West was unabashed in his latest line of Nazi-inspired couture – a collection of long and short-sleeve tops in black, white and red with swastikas in the center, adding that the product was ‘coming in crispy.’
The ‘crispy’ line was ostensibly a reference to Holocaust extermination camps where Jewish people were gassed and incinerated.
ADL CEO and National Director Jonathan Greenblatt told Dailymail.com exclusively in response on Monday, ‘There is no excuse – none – for praising Hitler. Glorifying a genocidal dictator with swastika merch is not “edgy” or “controversial.”
‘When someone with Kanye’s influence spreads Nazi glorification, it emboldens extremists. It’s unacceptable and downright dangerous.’
The 24-time Grammy winner himself modeled the shirts in wearing a black t-shirt with silver swastika with the caption, ‘never mention money.’
The Dark Fantasy performer also posted a Nazi-inspired logo he created for himself and wife Bianca Censori, 30, who raised eyebrows earlier this month when she took off her coat on the red carpet of the Grammy awards to reveal the sheerest of bodysuits.
The American Jewish Committee referred Dailymail.com to a statement in which they acknowledged West’s ‘anti-Jewish hatred’ in his social media posts – and the ‘dangerous influence they can have on his millions of followers, particularly on social media, where a significant portion of today’s antisemitism thrives.’

Said the AJC: ‘Hate, left unchecked, only multiplies. At a time when antisemitism is skyrocketing to terrifying levels worldwide, Ye is actively endangering Jews.
‘We urge others with a platform like Ye’s – particularly in the entertainment industry – to call out this blatant hatred.’
It was not immediately clear if any of the latest tweets – which the Black Skinhead artist subsequently deleted Saturday – violated X/Twitter’s stated ‘Violent and hateful entities policy.’
X/Twitter owner Elon Musk personally addressed the controversy surrounding West’s account posts earlier this month after the rapper posted a series of racist, sexist and misogynistic remarks during the weekend of the Super Bowl before temporarily deactivating his account.
‘Given what he has posted, his account is now classified as NSFW [not safe for work],’ Musk, 53, said February 10. ‘You should not be seeing that anymore.’
West wrote at the time he deactivated his account, ‘I’m logging out of Twitter. I appreciate Elon for allowing me to vent. It has been very cathartic to use the world as a sounding board.’
West on Monday complained that his account was being shadow banned by X/Twitter staff amid his torrent of tweets.
‘To the staff at X,’ West said, ‘Shadow banning me every 2 days is not freedom of speech.’
The Can’t Tell Me Nothing artist subsequently posted a homophobic slur in a tweet complaining about the state of American culture.
He wrote: ‘If people woke I must be sleep. Wake me up when y’all done with all this f***** s***.’
After the tweet was removed within two minutes, West complained that the site was censoring him.
He vowed to quit the platform yet again, comparing himself to NBA icon Michael Jordan.
‘I quit Twitter for now,’ he said. ‘They just deleted my last tweet. Jordan leaving the NBA.’
West has remained in the crosshairs of controversy for much of the month amid a torrent of tweets propagating antisemitism, and the proliferation of his swastika-emblazoned fashion items.

On February 11, the shop on West’s Yeezy Website – which he advertised with an expensive ad in certain markets during the Super Bowl broadcast – was taken offline by Shopify after he was selling a white shirt with a black swastika in the center.
West on Thursday promised to wear a swastika shirt onstage at Super Bowl LX, which takes place February 8, 2026 in Santa Clara, California.
‘Next year I’m performing at the superbowl wearing my wittle T shirt,’ said West, whose number one hits include 2024’s Carnival and 2005’s Gold Digger.
He added, ‘People with money bought my wittle t shirt.’
The Chicago native continued with the antisemitic sentiments despite a recent set of personal complications stemming from his outspoken views on Jewish people.
‘I TRULY LIKE JEWISH PEOPLE,’ West said Saturday. ‘THEY [JUST] CAN NO LONGER BE THE CREATIVE DIRECTORS OF THE PLANET … THEY ARE THE BULLYS… NO IM THE BULLY.’
They included a row with Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy; and reports of his views spurring tension between ex-wife Kim Kardashian, who he shares four children with, and her sister Kourtney’s baby’s father, Scott Disick.

The controversial race-related remarks comes after insiders told Dailymail.com earlier this month that Disick, 41, has been upset with Kim for not publicly condemning her ex-husband’s recent remarks via her massive platforms.
Disick, who shares three children with Kim’s older sister Kourtney, 45, ‘was raised Jewish and the fact that Kim has not denounced Kanye West’s hateful anti-Semitic remarks absolutely infuriates him,’ a source told Dailymail.com.
Disick ‘has had it with Kanye and takes personal offense to his attack on the Jewish community,’ the source continued.
West began speaking publicly about his disdain for Jewish people in the fall of 2022.
On October 3, 2022, West and and conservative commentator Candace Owens garnered controversy while donning tops that read ‘White Lives Matter’ during a Paris Fashion Week showcase for his Yeezy line.
West faced restrictions on his social media sites after he tweeted October 8, 2022: ‘I’m a bit sleepy tonight but when I wake up I’m going death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE … ‘
‘The funny thing is I actually can’t be Anti Semitic because black people are actually Jew also … you guys have toyed with me and tried to black ball anyone whoever opposes your agenda.’
The professional fallout to West’s repeated antisemitic statements included Adidas cutting their ties with him October 25, 2022 over his conduct.

Subsequently, companies such as Foot Locker and Gap removed his Yeezy products from their shelves, while industry mainstays including Vogue magazine and Balenciaga publicly distanced themselves from the rapper/fashion designer.
At the time, the talent agency CAA dropped West from its roster, while a documentary about West made by the studio MRC was shelved.
The next week, West expressed his admiration for Adolf Hitler while denying the Holocaust in a December 1, 2022 appearance alongside Fuentes on Alex Jones’ former show Infowars.
‘He didn’t kill six million Jews,’ the Dark Fantasy singer said of Hitler. ‘That’s just factually incorrect. I’m not trying to be shocking. I like Hitler. The Holocaust is not what happened.’
West said that ‘Hitler has a lot of redeeming qualities,’ adding that ‘every human being has something of value that they brought to the table, especially Hitler.’
West was banned from Twitter later that day for posting a picture of a swastika interlaced with a Star of David.
