A teacher was repelled after she had fled the stage of a brutal attempted murder with her ex-pupil boyfriend.
Laura Mcewan was with Matthew Davidson when he attacked William Taube in a street in Glasgow.
It is understood that McEwan and Davidson had formed a sexual relationship after he had been removed from school in May 2019.
Davidson, now 22, and colleague -criminier John Wilson launched a mean and not led attack that saw unarmed Mr Taube eight times in August 2020.
He bleed around his heart and a collapsed lung in the attack.
Mcewan and Davidson left the scene of the stabbing before the police and paramedics arrived and she then allowed him to stay in her house.
McEwan also tried to convince a witness of the incident not to tell the police her name and address, according to the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS) paperwork.
During a hearing at the Supreme Court in Glasgow in March 2021, Lord Mulholland Davidson and Wilson told that they had 'a lot of luck' not to consider murder after they had admitted attempted murder.
The court heard that Davidson was angry because his girlfriend McEwan would not let him attend a birthday party, but asked him to pick her up from there at 3.30 pm.
Public Prosecutor Lynsey McDonald said to the court: “Mr Davidson and Laura McEwan started to argue in the hallway.
“Mr. Taube, who was in the living room, looked in the direction of Mr Davidson. Mr. Davidson saw Mr. Taube look at him and immediately got angry and told him he had to go outside. '

Words were then exchanged and Davidson got back in the car accompanied by McEwan, the court heard.
Davidson followed by Wilson, a delivery person, then got out of the car and went to Taube.
McDonald said to the court: “The two accused struck repeatedly and put the complainant on the ground.”
They then got back into the car, together with McEwan, and drove away.
PE teacher McEwan, who was faculty head at a Glasgow school, was drawn for the GTCs.
She gave a series of allegations against her and was turned off for two years, according to the General Teaching Council for Scotland.
McEwan also confessed that he had drunk alcohol in April 2019 with former S6 students and all allowed her who did this that was later placed on Facebook.
She further admitted that Davidson was home from school in her car at a certain point in 2019.
McEwan signed an order to remove herself from the profession, so that she had allowed her behavior after the attempted murder was 'unfair' and 'integrity', which meant that she was unsuitable for teaching.
