The neighbor of Travis Kelce has tackled his comments about the start of the romance of the Chiefs star with Taylor Swift, after they had shocked their fans by saying that it started six months earlier than everyone thought.
Wes Bergmann, an actor who recently appeared in the 'Traitors' show, said on a podcast performance that living next to Kelce meant that he discovered his romance with Swift for everyone else.
“I was the first person who was aware of things like this,” he said in a February performance at the Rhap show with Michele Fitzgerald. “And I tried to tell this woman (Fitzgerald) a long time ago:” They are together, just so that you know “and she didn't believe it!
“She didn't believe it, she had something like” she only goes for artists. ” I defeated the validation of her showing up for games and things by six months. '
Now, however, Bergmann has said that he meant that Fitzgerald did not believe him for six months and not that Swift and Kelce were necessarily together so early.
“Omg, I'm so sorry and confused,” Bergmann wrote on X. “Everything that is reported is not my business. My contribution to this was taken out of context and said in what I thought was relative darkness, but it was clearly not.

“He (Kelce) moved in November, that's all I know. I told Michele, who is a giant fan, hey this is serious. She didn't believe me for six months.
“That was the intention of the comment. Again, it was taken out of the context, but I shouldn't talk about it. So consider this the last time I do that. '
Kelce and Swift confirmed speculation about their romance when the singer appeared in Chiefs vs Chicago Bears in Arrowhead Stadium in September 2023.
If Kelce and Swift started dating much earlier in 2023, this would mean that there is an overlap of her short flirt with Matt Healy of 1975.
The singer of the British band was briefly involved with Swift in the early summer in 2023 – News about their romance popped up in May that year, but a month later they broke out.
Swift was then sat at Kelce's mother four months later in the NFL in Kansas City.
That same summer, Kelce admitted on his new podcast from Heights that he was going to play Swift in Kansas City and hoped to give her his number after the show – only to hear that he would not meet her.
And while Swift rarely gives interviews nowadays, when she spoke with Time Magazine in December 2023, she lifted the lid on the early days of meeting Kelce.

“This all started when Travis brought me very adorable to his podcast, of which I thought it was metal like hell,” she said in the interview. 'We immediately started hanging around afterwards.

Last week the 35-year-old Kelce confirmed his plans to keep playing in the NFL after the Chiefs of Kansas City lost the Super Bowl in New Orleans to the Philadelphia Eagles.
He is expected to open his thinking process around the decision of the new Heights episode on Wednesday.
