The family of a 10-year-old girl who died then plowed an electric BMW during a football training session in a sports field today brought a tribute.
Aspirant -footballer Poppy Atkinson was killed after he was struck by the car on a sports field in Kendal Rugby Union Football Club, in Cumbria, on Wednesday evening.
Her sad parents nowadays described her as a 'natural force' and said that her seven -year -old brother Edward 'worshiped the land she walked through' and 'only wanted to be the way she'.
A second child, an eight -year -old girl from Kendal, was taken to the hospital for treatment with injuries that were not life threatening, said the police of Cumbria.
A 40-year-old man, from Lancaster, who was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, remains in police detention.
Poppy, from Kendal, was described by her family as the 'focal point of our lives' in an emotional tribute, because she was first mentioned by the police today.
The young girl dreamed of becoming a football player for Manchester United and some of the biggest stars of the club, in the men's and DameS teams, Afafgood.
In a moving tribute that was released today, Poppy's family said: 'Poppy was the center of our lives, everything for us revolved around Poppy's love for football.
'Poppy touched so many lives, it was easy to see why her energy, character, spirit and passion for football was contagious and hit a huge numbers of people.
'Poppy was 100% determined to be a professional football player. Many who know her, and who know her determination to improve and win, had no doubt that she would achieve her goal to play for Manchester United one day.

The police were contacted for the first time yesterday at 4.58 pm with a report of a collision with a black BMW i4 and two children on a sports field in Kendal Rugby Union Football Club.
In an update today, the Cumbria police said: “Investigative investigations continue to determine the full circumstances of this incident and inform a future coronial process.”
It is understood that a Kendal United Football Club training session took place at the time of the tragedy.

The BMW seems to have crashed by metal screens around the play area from a narrow neighboring parking space and landed about 4ft below on the field.
The vehicle then traveled about a quarter of the width of the field.
Local Tim Easter, 34, said: 'I pass by earlier and saw a first responder -ambulance on the field and two larger ambulances in the parking lot.
“There were a lot of police vehicles and people who mold around.”
Specialist researchers have been deposited on site and the area has been deposited while applying for the first investigation.
Training was planned for the under 14s and under 16 years in the club after 6.30 pm last night.
Officers deal with the collision as an isolated incident and there is currently no suggestion that this is terror -related.
