A smooth shoplifter was seen on the flight for a supermarket in London with a basket full of cooking oil in one hand and a bottle of red wine in the other.
The incident, which took place in the Southall Tesco Express in West Londs, was filmed by bewildered spectators who could not believe the brutality of the thief.
In the shocking images, the shoplifter can go through the aisles of the store with his greasy booty in tow.
The shoplifter witnessed the drop of a stack of Tesco's own brand £ 1.99 vegetable oil in a basket together with various other cooking oils.
Two Tesco employees also watched helplessly while the incident unfolded.
Marching is far from the store, the thief took a last souvenir in the form of a bottle of red wine and made no attempt to pay while strolling the main road.
