UK reform fell today in the civil war, while Nigel Farage is involved in a public hose competition with one of his party's own members of parliament.

He insisted that reform is not just a 'protest party' and makes 'gigantic progress' while furiously returned to claims from Rupert Lowe.

Mr. Farage wiped that Mr Lowe, who was praised as the next reform leader, would have had no chance of a cat in hell to become a member of parliament without him.

The eruption came after Mr Farage had become broken ranks by Mr Lowe to question his leadership capacities in an interview with the Daily Mail.

The Great Yarmouth MP, a former chairman of Southampton Football Club, accused Mr Farage of the actions as a 'Messiah' and complained his tight grip on the party.

He even driven the possibility to replace Mr Farage as a reform leader himself and to become prime minister.

There have been tensions between the couple since Elon Musk – who flirted with donating reform – Mr. Farage told that he “doesn't have what is needed” as a leader.

The billionaire Tech -Mogul, a narrow ally of US President Donald Trump, also seemed to endorse Mr Lowe as a replacement leader in comments on social media in January.

Mr Lowe claimed that the reform was needed to 'change from a protest party led by the Messiah in a well -structured party with a front bench'.

But this afternoon speaking with TintV, Mr Farage gave a wilting slapdown of the comments from his colleague reform.

“We are in no way a protest party – that is completely wrong, completely, completely wrong,” said the reform leader.

“We are a completely positive party. Come to every reform event and the positivity, the energy …

'If I have a supporter there, that's a good thing. If I hadn't done that, we would not have won any seats in parliament on July 4 last year on July 4. '

Asked if this was the constituency of Mr Lowe of Great Yarmouth – that one of the five seats was won by reform in the general elections of last year – he added: “There would have been no chance of a cat in hell.”

Mr Farage continued: 'We are not a protest party and he is on the front bank, so what is he talking about? With only five people you can't really have a shadow box.

“We have a lot of development to do, but we are absolutely not a protest party.”

When asked why Mr Lowe had become public with his comments, Mr. Farage replied: “Maybe he wants to become prime minister?

'Do most people in politics – half of the lower house think they should be prime minister. His comments are wrong, we are making gigantic progress. '

Press whether he had told the Lord Lowe to “wrap his neck in,” the reform leader added: “It makes no sense to tell him what to do or what to do. The fact is that we take huge steps. '

In his e -mail interview, Mr Lowe said that it was' absolutely amazing 'that he was a member of parliament for barely six months and I am in the gamble to be the next prime minister'.

But asked if Mr Farage would be a good prime minister, Mr Lowe added: 'It is too early to know if Nigel will deliver the goods.

“He can only deliver if he surrounds himself with the right people. Nigel is a bright independent individual and is extremely good at what we have done so far.

“He has messianic qualities. Will those Messianic qualities mean the distinguishing of wise leadership? Don't know.'

He further doubted Mr Farage's leadership about reform, and added: 'We must behave as if we are leading and not just protesting.

Nigel is a Messianic figure who is the core of everything, but he has to learn to delegate because not everything can go through one person.

'So we have to start developing the policy that will change the way we are going to rule.

'I'm not going to be in the next elections of Nigel, unless we have a good plan to change the way we rule from top to bottom.

“We cannot increase hope of people who are so frustrated by the way we are controlled and then flunkes.”

Tory parliament member Chris Philp, the Secretary Secretary of Shadow Home, said: 'This internal war war on the reform only shows that their members of parliament are more concerned with their own egos and promote their personal ambitions, rather than standing up for the British people.

'With one of Farage's oldest MPs who doubt his leadership capacities and admits that reform is a protest party without a plan, it is clear that reforms are not serious and will always place self -interest above our national interest.

'The British public deserves solutions, not just empty slogans.

“Only the conservatives, under the leadership of Kemi Badenoch, can be trusted as a real opposition and real alternative, against this terrible Labor government.”
