Vice President JD Vance has unexpectedly become a target of the meme culture of the internet -and has shared his thoughts about the craze.
What started as a niche joke among social media users now has snowball, which changes the face characteristics of Vance in Memes that are so exaggerated that some users claim that they have forgotten what the real vice president even looks like.
The face of the vice president is stretched, shrunk, completed and distorted in all sorts of ways, while fans and critics share their views, make recent events light or share their views.
And now Vance himself has spoken.
“I can confirm that VP Vance has seen a lot of the memes/edits of his photos and thinks it's a funny trend,” reported journalist Julio Rosas van de Blaze on X after traveling with him.
The viral images vary from Vance as a cherub with a baby face that a lollipop, to a sultry emo-rocker, to an absurd thick version of itself that says: “You have to say Pwease and you, Mistow Zensky.”
The meme-driven frenzy broke out after the oval office of Vance's Oval Office Heated Exchange with the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zenskyy last Friday.
During the meeting, Vance demanded: “Thank you once?”

The 'Pwease' Meme, a play about the observed petulance of the Vice President, has received such a traction that he is now often mentioned online as 'The Pwease Guy'.
While Memes flooded social media, a user noted: 'Twitter is unusable. I try to get updates about whether the First World War is on, but I only see that I am fat JD Vance -Memes. '
Another wrote: “I completely forgot what the real JD Vance looks like at this point,” posting a photo of a chubby Vance with flowing curls.
The enormous width of the attraction of the meme is striking. Although political memes are usually limited to partisely ultrasound rooms, this specific trend has succeeded in uniting people in the political spectrum.

Leaning users see it as a way to mock the loyalty of the vice-president to Trump and his observed hostility towards Ukraine, while some on the right-hand side, especially in meme-heavy conservative circles, seem to embrace the trend as an ironic honor of honor.
Vance's reaction, or his lack of objection, is a smart move.
At the age of 40 he is a millennial vice -president fluent in the language of internet culture and understands that responding too strongly to an online joke would only feed the fire.
Vance also placed memes on X occasionally, including a reference to the always sunny in Philadelphia.

According to McNaande, a part of what makes the meme so powerful that it places VANCE's self-serious political persona next to each other with an exaggerated, childish version of itself that undermines its authority.
One of the changed VANCE images has even been converted into a cryptocurrency token, which achieves a market capitalization of $ 20 million briefly.
“I can't tell you how disgusting and weird the whole thing made me feel,” said McNamee.
