The size of the nuclear arsenal of the world has quietly increased in different countries from the fear of the Second World War.
Officially, five countries – China, Pakistan, India, Israel and Noord -Korea – have increased their nuclear stocks by more than 700 nuclear heads in the past 40 years.
But a report from the Federation of American Scientists (FAS), a non -profit Global Policy Think Tank, warned that three other countries with nuclear bombs worldwide can quietly store even more weapons for a possible nuclear confrontation.
The fears come as groups such as the US National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) have noted that a treaty to permanently ban nuclear tests has been stuck and countries such as Russia and China have been seen on their nuclear weapon sites.
However, The US government announced last month that it will also restart its nuclear test programs Secret underground facilities.
FAS has released the estimated global nuclear core head supplies before 2024, which shows that there are 12,121 nuclear nuclear heads spread over nine countries.
Russia surpasses the US with several hundred nuclear heads.
The two countries regulate around 88 percent of this stock, whereby Russia reportedly has 5,580 bombs and the US has 5,044.
China, France, India, Israel, Noord -Korea, Pakistan and the UK control the rest of the remaining 1500 nuclear bombs in the world.
Worldwide tensions seem to cook, with President Donald Trump who warns the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zenskyy that he “gambles with the Second World War” by not agreeing with the peace conditions of America.

A new report estimates that there are still more than 12,000 nuclear core heads in the world, controlled by 9 different countries

The threat of a global war with nuclear weapons remains high due to continuous conflicts in the middle -east and Ukraine
China also hit back on Trump's vow to impose further rates with a grim warning that Beijing is ready for a rate war or 'a different kind of war'.
In the meantime, European leaders publicly explain their ability to beat Russia in a major conflict.
“Europe as a whole is really able to win every military, financial, economic confrontation with Russia – we are just stronger,” said Prime Minister Donald Tusk van Polen on the Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zensky prior to an EU top.
“We just had to start to believe in it. And today it seems to happen. '
According to the data from the Federation of American scientists, there are clear evidence that five countries have seen their nuclear stocks grow since 1986 – China (224 to 500), Pakistan (0 to 170), India (0 to 172), Israel (44 to 90) and Noord -Korea (0 to 50).
The experts discovered that 2,100 American, Russian, British and French 'Krarheads are high alertReady for use in the short term. '
Since no country on earth openly reveals exactly how many nuclear weapons they have in their arsenal, the team has made a well -trained gamble that they notice has become even more difficult in recent years.
To do this, used FAS publicly available information, historical data and leaked data from government officials to put together their 2024 figures.

The US and Russia have around 2500 nuclear core heads that are classified and still wait to be dismantled, more than the combined nuclear stocks of any other nation with these weapons
Scientists, however, said that governments are once again falling behind their nuclear secrets.
The first Trump administration ended the total disclosure policy of the nuclear stock of America in 2019. It was a policy that was in force since the Obama chair in 2010.
Although the BIDEN administration said that they would restore the policy of the nation with regard to nuclear transparency in 2021, researchers noted that the White House of Biden did not immediately declassify to declassify US stocks for three consecutive years.
From 2024, both the US and Russia no longer exchange data about their strategic nuclear heads and launchers that have been used all over the world – although this has been imposed by the new Start Treaty.
The agreement wanted to increase American security by setting limits to the intercontinental nuclear weapons of Russia.
In general, the think tank said that the US was still the most transparent nation when it comes to the size of their nuclear arsenal, and noted that the allies of the country in Israel were the most mysterious.
Another of the allies of America, the UK, has also stopped providing updates on the nuclear stock of their army – of which researchers said it is on 225 nuclear heads.

According to the federation of American scientists, 2,100 nuclear weapons worldwide 'are on a high alert, ready for use in the short term'
The new report noted that not every nuclear core head can be launched in a war at the moment.
Of the 12.121 nuclear heads that are assumed to exist from 2024, approximately 9,585 are officially part of the military stocks of the world – which means that these countries can launch them as missiles of ships, submarines or planes.
The rest are nuclear core heads that are retired and still wait to be dismantled. This includes more than 1,300 in the US and another 1200 in Russia.
The research team added that just over 3,900 nuclear bombs are currently attached to missiles or are on active bomber basses.
Even those figures, however, would be 'exaggerated' in every nuclear war, according to at least one study.

In 1986, experts estimate that the nuclear stock of the world grew to 70,300 bombs, but that number has fallen since the end of the Cold War

Researchers believe that different countries with access to nuclear weapons increase their stocks in the midst of the fear of a world war that will soon break out
In 2018, a Michigan Tech team argued that the explosions of only 100 nuclear missiles would be sufficient to effectively destroy society.
They added every country with more than 100 nuclear weapons, even if no one were to take revenge, would cause so much environmental damage that the attack would eventually kill the own people of that nation.
Professor Joshua Pearce said: “If we use 1000 nuclear core heads against an enemy and nobody takes revenge, we will see that about 50 times more Americans die than 9/11 because of the after-effects of our own weapons.”
Less than 40 years ago, researchers noted that there were around 70,300 nuclear nuclear heads worldwide.
In the 1990s, however, those numbers fell after the end of the Cold War between the US and Russia and the signing sessions of different weapons control.
