A man was charged after a woman reportedly attacked and set a house on fire with the police who discovers the bodies of three dogs in the wreck.
The police of NSW patrolled Kaitlerers Road in Lavington, in the south of the state, when they saw smoke from a house on the same street waving on Friday.
Officers hurried to the house to set it on fire and warned Fire and Rescue NSW.
Fire brigade crews extinguished the fire, but the house remained 'destroyed'.
The police were told that a 34-year-old woman was reportedly attacked by a 28-year-old man in the house before it caught fire.
The man was known to the woman, said a spokesperson for the NSW police.
“No injuries were reported because of this incident; However, the bodies of three dogs were found inside after the fire was extinguished, “he said.
A crime scene was founded in the house and officers were investigating the incident.

A 28-year-old man was arrested on Saturday at 4.30 pm in Springdale Heights.
The police took him to the police station of Albury and accused him of six offenses.
They include abuse with dealing with actual physical injury, infringement AVO (two counts), intimidation, destructive ownership by fire and possession forbidden medicine.
He was denied bail to appear for Wagga Wagga Local Court on Sunday 9 March.
