A mother was left 'deeply sadly' after she was told to punch £ 110,000 for medical repatriation after her toddler daughter had had a horror brain bleeding while she was on vacation in Mexico.
The daughter of Natasha Sargeant, Sienna-Rose, from Crxteth, Liverpool, who is only 19 months old, suffered a brain haemorrhage and swelling during holiday in Cancun.
The toddler suddenly collapsed while he played with her brothers and received life -saving operation to remove a blood clot.
She was rushed to three different hospitals before she was accepted for treatment, in which she vomited about 50 times.
Doctors could only remove part of the coagulation and there is a blood clot in the left part of her brain.
The family, who are not aware of whether there will be permanent brain damage, is desperate to return to the UK for better medical treatment – but remains stuck in Mexico after the foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) told them that they should finance their own medical flight, more than £ 110,000.
The FCDO told the worried family that they could not afford to repatriate them and said instead that they would put together a list with charities they could approach for help.
Natasha Sargeant told MailOnline that it was 'heartbreaking' when she heard that the FCDO could not repatriate her sick daughter.

“They said they don't have money for things like this. They said there was no financing for the costs and we should increase it ourselves. I was disappointed and surprised.
“The baby's life is in danger. I would expect something here. Something should be available. There is now the extra stress to try to raise money.
“I don't want to lose her in another country.”
Three mother said she was quoted this morning £ 110,000 for a private flight.
They were also charged £ 4,000 a night in the Mexican hospital.
“The costs are not viable,” said Mrs. Sargeant. 'I work in a minimum wage in the UK in a hospital. We have already paid £ 12,000 and that is before the flight. '
The family took out travel insurance, but it was made invalid.
A GoFundMe page was set up by her sister-in-law Amy Mcfadden, who has collected £ 17,500 so far.

Mrs. McFadden, MailOnline said: 'We just want to get them at home. It is terrible that they are so far away.
“It's a living nightmare. You never think this would happen to your family. It just doesn't really feel. We are all in turmoil. '
She described Sienna-Rose as the 'happiest little girl you would ever meet'.
Less than a year ago, the toddler was in the hospital due to swollen lymph nodes. “All the time smiled and laughed,” said Mrs. McFadden.
The treatment at the Cancun Hospital is inferior to the UK and the longer Sienna-Rose stays, the more she deteriorates, according to her mother.
“It's a fight for antibiotics every day,” she said. 'We have to ask for everything here, including paracetamol. There has been none on the spot, so I was forced to hurry.

'You don't even have to ask in the UK and they will offer you the right medicine and blood tests.
'They are trying to discharge her now, so that there is room for other babies. But she can hardly get up or speak. It is a fight to prevent them from being fired. At home they would ensure that she had a rehabilitation and it fitted before they left.
“She can't even sit upright now and there is no plan as soon as she is fired.”
