The Cleveland Browns and Pass Rusher Myles Garrett have reached an agreement that keeps the defensive star with the team.
This is after Garrett has submitted a trade question to the team and even threatened to boycott games if he was not sent.
But in a stunning turn of events, as confirmed by the team, the browns and Garrett have agreed a contract extension that makes him the best paid non-quarterback in the history of the NFL.
According to Ian Rapoport from NFL Network, Garrett's extension adds four years to his deal – so that it is brought a total of six years.
In the course of his deal, Garrett will earn an amazing $ 204 million, with nearly $ 123 million guaranteed and an average annual salary of $ 40 mA years.
According to ESPN Adam Schefter, the contract also includes a no-trade clause and Garrett will hold in Northeast Ohio until 2030.

Garrett's extension will be paid for a total of $ 204 million in the coming six seasons
Schefter added that the general manager of Browns Andrew Berry and Garrett's agent, Nicole Lynn, have worked together for the past 36 hours to strengthen a way to have the superstar confirm a career trajectory from 'Cleveland to Canton'.
It was a long struggle because both parties did not want to admit to their respective positions.
For Garrett he made it clear that he did not want to be part of a rebuilding team and that he wanted to compete for championships.
After a meeting with Browns owner Jimmy Haslam earlier this week, he threatened to sit competitions if he was not moved.
Several teams were interested in pulling out a trade for Garrett – with the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles in that group.
For Cleveland, the browns did not want to trade their clear best player – which has most bags in the NFL in the past three seasons.
Now, with a new contract, Garrett is in line to end his career in Cleveland before his inevitable enhrinement in the Pro Football Hall of Fame only 60 miles in Canton, Ohio.
On an AAV of $ 40 million, Garrett takes the first place on the list of best paid non-quarterbacks in the NFL.
