An older woman in her 1970s remained 'shaken' after a furniture had randomly attacked her – in which the police urgently hunted the crook.
Officers ran on stage in Middleton, Manchester, after an attack was reported on Thursday morning at 11.20 am.
The woman was lucky not to get serious injuries, but was 'shaken' by the attack, the police said.
The power has released CCTV images that a man show with whom they want to speak in connection with the incident.
They believe he could have information to help with the manhunt.
The suspect is still loose three days later, because he is feared in possession of a knife, the police say.
Several parents of the local Alkrington Primary School went to Lockdown after the incident.
A police helicopter was both above and armed officers on the spot, according to Eye Witness reports.

The police have insisted witnesses to come forward with information that can help catch the criminal.
A spokesperson for De Kracht said: 'Since the report came in, we have done extensive investigations in the area, spoken with residents and various witnesses.
'Officers continue to go through hundreds of hours of CCTV and there are extra resources devoted to this to ensure that we can build a detailed timeline of events that have led to this incident, and the suspects then.
'We continue to work closely with the victim to support her in what is a disturbing time.
'The police have now released a video of a man with whom they want to speak, because they believe that he might help with questions. If you recognize something about this man, please contact us. '
Detective inspector Kimberley Hines, from the Rochdale district, added: 'We believe that this is a non -laid attack that a woman has left incredibly shocked.
'We know that hearing about this incident will be for our communities, but I want to assure you that extensive work is going on to find the suspect, and we have extra patrols in the area to talk to residents and support.
'We have a team of detectives and police officers who work around the clock to determine who is responsible for this attack, and we are attractive to the public that could possibly help us.
'We have released images of a man we want to speak with, because we believe that he can have information that is relevant to our research.
“Although you can't see his face in the video, we ask if someone recognizes the clothes or maybe his build and help us identify it – please come forward.”
