The scientist arrested in the death of three chief fans who have now been charged an overdose in his frozen back garden by the father of one of the victims.
David Harrington's father is looking for $ 100,000 compensation in a negligence lawsuit against both the homeowner, Jordan Willis, 39, and his alleged drug dealer Ivory Carson, 42, as reported by Fox 4.
Harrington, 37, Ricky Johnson, 38, and Clayton McGeeney, 36, were last seen alive to view the last regular season heads in January 2024 – a full two days before their bodies were discovered in Willis' Kansas City, Missouri, Backyard.
On Wednesday, Willis and Carson were accused of involuntary manslaughter and delivery of a regulated substance. They did not argue guilty.
The two were arrested after more than a year of speculation of what the three friends killed. Officials have now established that they died of a combined toxicity of fentanyl and cocaine.
Witnesses said the friends used cocaine while the Chiefs De Los Angeles Chargers play together on January 7, 2024, first in the Harrington house and then Willis' at home.
The witnesses said that Willis had a history of offering cocaine to his friends when they had little money and that he bought it from Carson, according to the likely cause.
Willis, an HIV scientist, said the police that he believed that McGeeney, Harrington and Johnson might have got some fentanyl and that he thought they were all left his house around 4 o'clock, the morning after the game

Return data that the low temperature that night was around 33 degrees.
Researchers interviewed Carson, who admitted cocaine to Johnson, Willis, Harrington and McGeeney before January 1, 2024, says the likely cause.
Willis's lawyer, John Picerno, said there is no evidence that Willis bought the drugs that his friends took before their death and noticed that they partyed all day. And he said that Willis did not know that they were still in his back garden – or that they needed medical help – until the police appeared.
“It has been a very long year for Jordan,” said Picerno. “He has lost his job. He has lost his house. He has lost his friends. The audience points to him as someone who has essentially killed them. And nothing can be further from the truth. '
Willis has previously denied every involvement in the death of his friend and said that he went to bed in the early morning hours of January 8 and did not know that his friends were still in the back garden.
He also claimed that he saw none of the many messages from the loved ones of his friends until the police appeared in his house two days later because he was sleeping with headphones.
But for months, friends and relatives had suspected that Willis knew more about the death of his friend than he had allowing them to demand answers from the police, that Mama kept about the case, only said that officers did not believe that the men's deaths were the result of cheating.
They now say that Carson – who went past the nickname 'Blade Brown' – delivered cocaine and sold to Willis and the victims, and notice that his DNA was later found on a bag of Fentanyl in Willis's house.

Officers also spoke with a witness who told the researchers that he had been to Harrington's house earlier and saw a plate of cocaine by Willis that everyone used, “said Platte County Arcute lawyer Eric Zahnd on a press conference on Wednesday.
Allegedly another witness told the police that he was at Willis, McGeeney, Harrington and Johnson in Willis 'at home after the game of the Chiefs' where they drank, marijuana smoked and used cocaine. '
That witness said Harrington, McGeeney and Jonson were still alive from 1.30 am, while according to KSN Willis had gone to bed.
But almost two days later, friends and relatives said they didn't hear from Harrington, Johnson and McGeeney when they repeatedly had a message on social media that beg for answers.
By January 9, McGeeney's fiancé decided to break into the basement of Willis when the scientist did not answer the front door.
She called the police when she saw a body on Willis's porch. Officers then found the other two corpses.
A toxicological report eventually found that the three men had cocaine, THC and Fentanyl in their systems, and on Wednesday the police stated that they died of 'fentanyl and cocaine -toxicity'.
