President Donald Trump made shots on a reporter from Washington Post on Sunday evening after he asked him about Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The president spoke with reporters on Air Force One on the trip back to Washington, DC of Mar-A-Lago about his efforts to negotiate a peace in the ongoing Russian war in Ukraine.
“Many people died this week as you know in Ukraine, not only Ukrainians but Russians, and I think everyone wants to see it is being done,” Trump said.
Washington Post reporter Michael Birnbaum intervened to ask Trump if he considered Putin's attack on Ukraine as an act of respect.
“President Putin did not respect you by attacking Ukraine if you try to make peace there?” he asked.
“What did he do?” Asked Trump.
“Well, he attacks Ukraine,” replied Birnbaum.
Trump asked Birnbaum for which outlet he worked, and when he learned he worked for the Washington Post, he replied: “You lost a lot of credibility,” before he continued with the next question.

Trump tries to attach a peace between Ukraine and Russia, and repeatedly expresses his wish to put an end to the conflict that he claims would never have started if he had remained president after the 2020 elections.
Saudi Aarabia is expected to organize further peace talks between the United States and Ukraine on Tuesday after an Oval Office with the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zensky and Trump and the American vice -president JD Vance were increasingly agitated earlier this month.
Trump told Zensky to leave the White House and refused to continue with a mineral rights agreement between the two countries until Ukraine indicated that it was open for negotiations about a peace with Russia.
Since then, Zelesnky has signed his desire to return to the negotiating table.
