A parent British couple who withdrew to Thailand before he fell victim to a wild attack fear that they are about to be sent to prison in the country after the perpetrators accused them of causing 'mental fear'.
Des and Mary Byrne from Middlesbrough moved to the Resort City Hua Hin on the Thai Riviera in 2021 and used their hard -earned savings to build a villa to live their retirement there.
But their dream movement soon changed into a 'horror beyond their worst nightmare' after they were in the middle of a dispute over country access, according to reports.
In December 2023 the couple heard a commotion in their garden and went outside to see that two people are cracking their plants.
They confronted the couple, a few from in the forties said they had been their neighbors and said they had to leave the building.
But the public man, supposed to be out of the UK, then launched a cruel attack on them helped by his partner, a Thai subject, who was trapped at CCTV.
Both seemed physically fit and trained in Thais Boxing, reports tesside live, as a result of which Mr and Mrs. Bryne, respectively 77 and 69 years old, with little opportunity to defend themselves.
Byrne said he was eliminated by his attacker cold, who then kept hitting him while he was on the floor a total of 22 times, causing his face and body to be damaged.

In the meantime, his wife was attacked by the woman, of which she said he hit and kicked until she fell into a flower bed where she seems to have been stamped then.
Allegedly, after the attack, Mr Byrne was left unconscious and had to stay in the hospital to recover from horrible back and head injury.
Mrs Byrne, a former palliative care nurse who worked during the pandemic before retired, suffered a broken nose, bleed on her brain and now has an irregular heartbeat, the sun reports.
The attackers of the couple were arrested and initially denied the charges in May 2024, but later changed their plea in guilty and were instructed to pay compensation, according to the Byrnes.
But the Saga took a shocking turn for the pensioners when their house was attacked by Thai police officers who were subsequently arrested for counter -homes of causing 'superficial injuries and mental fear'.
Retired chemical engineer Mr Byrne and retired nurse Mrs. Byrne will now be pulled before a court on Wednesday and say they have been told that they will probably be sent to prison.
The couple spent every penny of their savings to erase their names, including selling their pension home, and seized their passports.
They also fear that after the time in prison they may not be able to return to the UK for years if they receive a probationary sentence after prison, which would mean that their passports are seized.
“Everything we want is coming home, but we are stuck here, we are prisoners and nobody seems to help us,” said Mrs. Byrne.

The Byrnes say that the charges were brought against them after they refused to pay bribery.
The couple now live in temporary accommodation 'from suitcases' after they have left their villa for their safety.
Their family back in the UK has desperately tried to call in the help of politicians to get the couple at home.
Rupa Huq, MP from Labor for Ealing and Central Acton, wrote to foreign secretary David Lammy and urged him to support the couple.
But sources from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs have told the Sun that it cannot intervene in the internal matters of another country.
An official statement from the FCDO said: “We support two British subjects in Thailand and have contact with the local authorities.”
