A body has been discovered in the search for a missing student who disappeared from the pub on the way home.
Sebastian Sailes, 21, was last seen to leave the Black Horse Pub in Chippenham at about 11.30 pm on 27 February and was captured on CCTV on the way to Lovers Walk.
It is then thought that he went south along Avon Valley Walk to his home address in Notton, Wakefield, but has not been seen since.
Police divers, who, after his disappearance, searched a part of the Avon river in Chippenham, unfortunately found a body, the Wiltshire police said.
“The Sebastian family has been informed of the latest development and our thoughts are with them in this extremely difficult time.”
Formal identification will take place in due course.
Wiltshire Police Superintendent James Brain said: 'This development will of course be devastating to the Sebastian family.
'I would like to offer my sincere condolences, and I know that everyone involved in supporting this operation will also think about the Sebastian family.
'We will continue to offer our support in the coming days.

Sebastian is described as white, about 5ft 10 in long, of a slender construction with blond/brown hair and a long pony.
On the evening of his disappearance, he was seen in a gray sweater, blue jeans, a beige fur covered jacket and white adidas trainers with a Velcro belt at the top.
