District judge Christopher Cooper published a 37 -page statement that established that the Ministry of Government Efficiency was not immune to control under the Freedom of Information Act.
“The authority exercised by USDs in the federal government and the dramatic cuts that apparently made without congress input seem to be unprecedented,” he wrote.
Cooper mentioned weeks of media that reported on how Musk has transferred an ax to federal agencies in an attempt to eradicate wasting expenses.

When the crew submitted a FOI request to Doge, the authorities responded that it was that it did not have to pay because it was not a 'agency' subject to Foia laws.
