Clive Palmer has renewed the calls for Kevin Rudd to be recalled from Washington in his role as ambassador of Australia in the US, while revealing the radical policy of his new 'Make Australia Great Again' party.
The billionaire mining magnate focused on the former prime minister in a broad speech to the National Press Club in Canberra on Thursday, explaining the vision of his trumpet of Patriot Party.
“There are not too many ambassadors in Washington who have insulted the president of the United States, Kevin Rudd is alone,” Mr. Palmer told the public.
“Australia needs an effective representative in Washington who can support our nation in her time of unrest, at a time when our standard of living is declining and when the Australian people get hungry.”

“Is it a miracle that the president does not accept the call of Mr. Albanese?”
Mr. Palmer was asked when he last spoke with Trump and if he thought he had a “better bond” with the president than Mr Rudd, but refused to reveal his “private discussions.”

Mr. Palmer refused to say who would be better suited for the role of the ambassador, but he supported the job of former ambassadors Joe Hockey and Kim Beasley.

“They get someone who has a kind of relationship – there are many prominent Australians who already do that with the Trump administration – or you get someone who is neutral.”

Mr. Palmer, who claimed that 'thousands of people' fell at his new Trump-inspired party, also called on banks to cover the interest rates at 3 percent and that people can finance their supernation to a house deposit of 30 percent.
“That means that Australians can live again, which means that our rental will be available to people at a much lower price,” he said.
“Almost a third of our Australians are currently renting, and this country, to its shame, has 120,000 homeless people who can't live anywhere.”
He also said that his party would build a high-speed rail network, such as in Japan, to quickly commute people to the city from cheaper homes in the suburbs.
Mr. Palmer also focused on Anthony Albanese and Peter Dutton and described the prime minister and the opposition leader as 'Whingers'.
“They look at what's wrong. They don't look at how we solve the problem, “he said.
“They do not offer solutions and leadership to solve the serious problems with which every Australians have to deal with every day of the week, whether it is housing, whether it is a cost of living, a whole series of things.”
Mr. Palmer repeated his call to recognize only two genera – male and female – and forbidding trans -athletes of female sports.
“Men and women's clothing are not allowed to confuse our children at school,” he said.

Asked why he was willing to spend millions on a new political party when he received only one person chosen in 2022, Mr. Palmer said that it was his “hobby” and that he was “proud to be Australian.”
