The wife of a British diving instructor who was shot on their Bahamas hunt still fights a decade later for justice, because the process of the alleged murderer is once again put on hold.
When Gary, 51 and Kat Vanhoeck sold their house in the UK in exchange for their dream life on a 36 -foot hunt – called 'Lucky Break' – about 15 years ago.
The couple had worked for the diving school of Stuart Cove, which is located in the southwest of New Providence, where the James Bond Thunderball and Casino Royale were filmed.
They embraced their new life completely in the dreamy picturesque coastlines of the Caribbean and took groups of sharp divers to the watery depths.
But unfortunately, after five wonderful years of pursuing their dream life, when two armed robbers went on board in the middle of the night.
During the incident, her husband, 51, was ordered by the masked men to express the boat and was shot in the back of the head neighboring the diving school.
Elsewhere, Mrs. Vanhoeck was not able to see or hardly breathe under the deck because they had covered men her head in silver duct tape.
After a while, Mrs. Vanhoeck, now 55, lay on layers of tape, making an offer for freedom, running away from the boat to a friend's house on the road.
Only when they returned with the police, did they tell her what happened.
Now in a shocking interview, she had told the test more than ten years later while she continues to fight for justice for her deceased husband.

She experienced the tragic night and said to the sun: “As I came in, I saw Gary. I started running towards him, but they withdrew me and said, “Don't let her go close, they work on him”. '
The moment she describes the life -changing moment that she was told that her husband had been shot, Mrs Vanhoeck breaks into tears and starts to have a physical reaction when telling the traumatic memory, according to the sun.
Although she believed that police officers suspected that she was involved in the death of her husband CCTV later a backup of her story, after she had captured the two men on the camera with Balaclava.
During a probe it was discovered that the men had also swept £ 6000 of jewelry and the iPhone of the grieving widow.
After the death of her husband, the police found a bullet from the scene that later led to Brian Miller JR being accused of his murder, as well as armed robbery, burglary and possession of a firearm without a permit and ammunition.
But more than a decade later, Mr Miller JR remains on a bail because the trial is postponed time and time again due to admin errors, where the procedure was postponed again for the 11th time earlier this week.
And while Mr. Miller JR remains on bail, back on British land in Warminster, Mrs. Vanhoeck sits out a life sentence without her beloved husband Gary.

The idea of sailing the world was an idea of Gary's, after spotting a vacancy in the Caribbean.
After some time on the British Virgin Islands, they later set up a live in the Bahamas later in 2010, so that their yacht in the new Providence area is anchored.
What was once everything was where the couple 'once dreamed of' Life on sunny paradise has now turned into a 'nightmare'.
“I have the memories, but life, you can't bring life back, and that's the biggest thing they have taken from me,” she told the sun.
Add how she never believed that she would still wait 10 years later for justice, she added: 'You play with someone's life. Every time we get a court date, I have to relive it to prepare myself. '
