The salvation of a emaciated man from the burning house where he reportedly had been locked up for 20 years by his stepmother was recorded in a moving video.
The images shows the moment that the 32-year-old was brought to safety from the Flaming building in Waterbury, Connecticut.
The police said that the man deliberately started fire on 17 February as a means to escape from the room of 8 feet at 9 feet that he reportedly had closed since he was in fourth grade.
