A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: 'We want fans to visit London this weekend to have a great time.
'There is a lot of useful advice on the Wembley Stadium website that we would encourage everyone to read.
'In recent years, fans of visiting Teams have used Trafalgar Square as a gathering point on Saturday for a Sunday game.
'That will not be possible this weekend, because the square will be closed to prepare for an upcoming event. Fans are advised to make alternative schemes and do this in advance.
'Although we know that many fans are planning to drink and entertain a drink, it is in everyone's interest that it does not exceed the border from celebration to antisocial or disorderly behavior.
'Officers will intervene quickly if this is the case.
'Dispersiegebeels will be present in Westminster and around Wembley who gives officers the power to demand that everyone who acts in a disorderly way to leave the area.
'Fans must also be aware that Brent Council (in whose area Wembley is located) will maintain a no-street drink zone in the Olympic way and the environment. It is present for all events in Wembley Stadium.

'There is also an order of the public space in the Westminster area that covers a large part of the West End, including Covent Garden.
“It gives police officers and council officials the opportunity to seize alcohol if individuals are disorderly.”
Scotland Yard added: 'We will have used officers in the center of London and around Wembley Stadium all weekend to offer a reassuring presence and respond to any incidents.
“All fans with worries should not hesitate to talk to them.”
Newcastle manager Howe was in Bullish mood during Friday's press conference, even though he was four and Sterman Antony Gordon who serves a three-game ban without half of his first choice.
“We tried to double our core strengths,” he said.
'The mind is really good and that is why the victory at West Ham was so important. Everything is positive.
'Really, when I look at a team selection, there are always decisions. We look at the opposition and find out who should lock.
“We have a very tight team, so there are no many options.”
