A pedophile that has spent 27 years on the run has been found guilty of 97 offenses – including dozens of historical sexual abuse of children.
Richard Burrows, a former house machines for boarding school and scout leader, had allowed 43 offenses and refused 54 others, who today convicted him at Chester Crown Court.
The predator became one of the most searched fugitives of the UK when he fled the country before his trial would take place in 1997, but he was arrested in Heathrow in March last year after his return from Thailand.
