Normally she is seen at the end of a news bulletin that reveals what scots can expect.
But Judith Ralston fans called her to make a permanent newsreader after she briefly stepped into the role.
The BBC presenter unexpectedly organized the evening bulletin of reporting Scotland on Sunday to cover the staff disease.
She was praised for her flawless version by viewers who would like to see more of her on the screen.
Judith, 57, a married mother of three, has built up a dedicated supporters of fans and has said that she will be bombed online with racks.
But she also admitted that her sex symbol status had embarrassed her family when her teenage son was plagued by students at school.
After her appearance behind the office of the news presenter on Sunday, fans went to social media to call to make the move permanent.

Before he went to the broadcast, Mrs. Ralston, who was born in Edinburgh, was an opera singer.
She has been sang opera since the age of 15 and also played the violin at school, first graduated from the RSAMD (now the Royal Conservatoire) in Scotland in 1991 before he went to the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester.
Her career was demolished after she developed muscles in her voicebox as a result of bad lessons.
She joined the BBC in 1999 as a travel reporter for BBC Scotland and then went to the weather.
She is currently on the screen with wrestler Grado in the BBC series Scotland's largest escape in which they visit tourist places throughout the country.
