The CIA -Hoofdkwartier was sent in Lockdown on Wednesday morning after a shooter was seen near the base of the desk.
The armed man, who has not been identified, reportedly pulled a gun and made threats outside the CIA head office in Langey, Virginia.
Reports indicate that the man had a 'mental health crisis' was seen on a bank outside the building and pointed to a gun at the office's head office.
Police, Swat teams and bompompads hurried to the scene and a passer -by described the response of the law enforcement to Wjla as 'massif'.
Early reports have falsely indicated that shots were fired at the CIA head office, but a source of law enforcement told the outlet valve that no shots were fired at the incident.
There are no reports of injuries or deaths as a result of the situation that the area has sent around the office in Lockdown while roads are blocked.
A school nearby was also locked when the incident unfolded.
It was not immediately clear on Wednesday morning whether the shooter was in custody and a serious presence on law enforcement remained outside of Laney.
