Pilgrims traveled to the medieval city of Assisi in Italy to see the preserved body of the British Carlo Acutis prior to his canonization as a saint next month.
Acutis, who died of leukemia in 2006 at the age of 15, becomes the first millennial of the Catholic Church after he has credited wonders since his death.
The teenager born in London was defeated by Pope Franciscus in 2020, who then approved the canonization of Acutis last year, planned for April 27, 2025.
In accordance with his last wish, Acutis was buried in Assisi, laid to rest in the sanctuary of the spoliation in the church of Santa Maria Maggiore in April 2019.
His body is encapsulated in a wax layer to look like his body prior to funeral, which enables them to see Acutis believing while he lived in his grave, per aleteia.
The teenager, lovingly called 'God's influencer', has gathered a global following since his death.
This week, worshipers were able to buy souvenirs and dwenskens of the blessed Carlo Acutis in a store in Assisi.

Acutis must now become holy as a saint, between April 25 and April 27 this year, as a saint in the jubilee of the church.
The date was announced after a second miracle was attributed to his intercession was confirmed in May 2024.
The mother of a Costa Rican woman who was involved in a serious bicycle accident had prayed in his glass coffin and left a note with her to be cured in 2022.
The same day her daughter started breathing independently and 10 days later she was fired from Intensive Care because the bleeding in her brain had disappeared.
The Vatican also said that Acutis came from heaven in 2013 to cure a Brazilian boy who suffered from a rare pancreatic disease.
Acutis was defeated in Assisi, the house of his idol Saint Francis, who devoted his life to the care of the poor.
His mother said that her son also devoted herself to supporting wrestling classmates, defending disabled friends who were bullied and taken meals to the homeless in the city.
The 15-year-old died in Monza, Italy in 2006 after he moved to Milan as a child.
Since then he has been called 'God's influencer' and 'the patron saint of the internet' because of his dedication to promote his religious beliefs online before he died.

To become a saint, there is usually a waiting time of five years until the process starts. This ensures a period of reflection.
The bishop of the diocese where the person died then investigates whether their lives were holy enough to be considered a “servant of God.”
Before his death, Acutis founded a website with the name 'The Eucharistic Miracles of the World' and enjoyed investigating various miracles for the site.
The website says that it is “aimed at confirming the belief in the real presence of the body and the blood of the Lord in the Eucharist.”
His mother said to The Times: 'He was a computer genius, so this probably makes him very close to the people of today.
“He lived the same life as she, he liked to play video games, used internet, loved football.”
The teenager also helped the homeless and came up for bullies at school.
The municipality for the causes of saints then looks at the case. If they approve it, it is passed on to the Pope, who explains the subject of a person of 'heroic virtue'.

In July 2018, Pope Franciscus called him honorable, which helped him to achieve the third of five phases to become a saint.
For salvation, a miracle must happen with a person who has prayed to the person in question.
The person can then become holy if a second miracle can be attributed to them.
Carlo would only be the second Brit who became sacred in almost 50 years, after Cardinal John Henry Newman had become a saint in 2019.
He was the first since October 25, 1970, when a large number of British martyrs were sanctified in sanctification by Pope Paul VI at the same time.
