Furious local population has forced a convicted sex offender to escape their small city under police escort after he has learned about his dark past.
Damien Bell, 53, was chased from Port Pirie, 220 km north of Adelaide, after the local population found out that he had recently been released from prison because of the possession of children's material.
Under the coverage of Darkness on Monday evening, officers Bell led in a police van while residents shouted that he would be kicked out.
Images conquered the dramatic moment with neighbors who were seen on the street and shouted against him, happy to see the back of the police car.
The 53-year-old perpetrator lived close to a primary school and the area is known as popular with families and young children.
He has not written his conditional circumstances and is not accused of misconduct, but was removed from the community for his own safety.
Port Pirie has a population of around 14,000 and it was not long before the locals got the wind of Bell's disturbing history.
In the days prior to his expulsion, the inhabitants of Port Pirie shared his information online – including a car in which he was often seen.

Bell uses his online social media platforms, such as Facebook, to preach about Jesus.
One of his most important topics is forgiveness.
“For those who don't know, he died for us for our sins,” Bell said in one clip.
The locals of Port Pirie said, however, that they were not willing to overlook Bell's criminal history.
Several said that Bell was not allowed to live in such a dense proximity of a school, given his past of sexual abuse of children.
However, the Parole Board noted that Bell did not make any violations that came into physical contact with contact with or approaching children, 7News reported.
One requirement of his release does not prevent him from in the vicinity of schools.
Residents of Port Pirie labeled his actions 'completely disgusting'.

“We should have received a report about it and he shouldn't be that close to a school,” said the local Josh Radcliffe.
Another local, Paul Oaklands, said: 'We ask for a city that is predator -free. That is all we want, somewhere for our children and our grandchildren too.
“It is still a violation, it doesn't matter where it is online, physical … Every crime committed against a child is unacceptable by the community.”
The online reaction to Bell's powerful removal was largely positive.
'Well done for all involved. These people commit crimes that destroy the lives of their victims. The victim gets a life sentence, just like the perpetrator, “they wrote.
“That is a community united. Congratulations to you all, we are all behind you here, “said another.
'Good for them! Should not be anywhere in families or a school! “Another wrote.
“They are such stories that make me proud and at the same time ashamed of being out of Port Pirie,” added another.
A spokesperson for the SA police confirmed that officers were called to a house after a 'malfunction'.
“The police were called to Jensen Street on Monday, March 17, Risdon Park by reporting a malfunction between a group of locals,” he said.
“The group spread after the patrols arrived. No reports or arrests were made. '
Bell's mother confirmed that he no longer lives in Port Pirie.
