The pronounced owner of a Somerville -Pizzeria has again fueled controversy online – almost two years after his famous bust with Dave Portnoy.
In August 2023, Charlie Redd – who owns 'Dragon Pizza' in Davis Square – Viral after he had torn Portnoy in Portnoy while he rated his food while he was immediately outside the restaurant.
“Enjoy your pizza, but I don't appreciate what you are doing with small companies,” Redd told the Barrstool Sports Founder before their spit descent in a dirty mouth-and-comfort that was viewed by more than 18 million people on X.
Just over 18 months after that meeting, Redd is again in the headlines after he unveiled this week on social media that he had to demand 'a group of negligent parents' who leave the store with their children on March 14 because of the children's behavior.
He accused the unnamed family of 'our dining room, other guests and our team, not to respect' before he added that his restaurant is 'not a place for non-supervisory children to play'.
After seeing his Archnemesis distributing the opinion again, Portnoy went to X on Wednesday to give his view of the last controversy of Redd – which made him somewhat conflicted.

“I can't believe that I have to talk about this Dragon Pizza Guy again,” said the media Mogul in a video message. 'Of course, Dragon Pizza, that is the man who confronted me outside his pizza place at Davis Square in Somerville.
'He is in the news again because I think he kicked a family from his restaurant, small children, because he said they were unmanageable and that they did not respect his restaurant. Then he went to social media. The only way people know about it is because he has actually done a post, in fact such as: “I hate small children. If you don't respect my restaurant, you're gone.”
'This has really created the (mystery) for yours, because I absolutely despised this guy (Charlie). He is an arrogant, piece of s ***, arrogant C *** Sukkel. There is absolutely no other way to say it, “he went on.
'Just an absolute garbage bag, loves the attention of controversy. Nobody would even know that he kicked this family out if he had not placed it on his Facebook page and tries to act like a badass and lock all the comments.
“Totally one of the worst people of all time.”
Portnoy, however, briefly chose Redd after knowing that he is also easily irritated by children.
“Saying all that, I'm not a small child person,” he added. “I don't like small children. So when I'm in a restaurant and children are disrespectful, I want them to be gone.
'So it stinks that I agree with this guy. Again, it is not necessary to post about it, and maybe these children didn't even do anything -because let's be honest, this guy pretends his pizza spot a five -star restaurant in Michelin. '

But he was quickly turned around on that position: 'He probably blew this out of proportion because this guy just likes to be a ** hole. This guy is a professional a ** hole. There is no other pizza place that always ends up in the news.
'Buddy, you have a small pizza spot with S **** y pizza on Davis Square. You know what, I am against this guy. It is finished *** ING Pizza. So the children were a bit loud? Get a grip, Fatso! '
During their famous run-in outside Dragon Pizza, Redd Portnoy called for 'a company with one bite' before the couple eventually started to exchange furious insults.
“Let me be clear, get the f *** from the front of my company,” a furious Redd told him.
'F *** you. F *** You, 'Portnoy hit back. 'This is a public street that is your motherf ***.
“The two sizes of your shirt too small.”
Redd was later told that he responds: “Go f *** yourself and the entire F *** ING platform that you are doing.”
Portnoy shared the images on social media as one of his typical pizza reviews and called it: “The worst pizza place in America.”
