Critics have finally weighed on Marc Webb's $ 270m budget 'PC' Live-Action remake of Disney's Sneehwitje with Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot next to a whole series of CGI movement cladding dwarfs.
The remake of the classic animation film from 1937 Snow White and the seven dwarfs – who touch US/UK theaters on Friday – currently has a gloomy 48% critic approval (of the 87 reviews) on Rotten Tomatoes.
Peter Bradshaw of the Guardian gave Snow White one of the five stars and called it a 'meaningless' and 'shocking terrible reboot' with 'tiring pseudo-progressive additives that tie the whole thing in buttons.'
“Where other films playfully present the background stories of famous villains, it plays the law, but with carefully composed revisionist tweaks,” Bradshaw wrote.
“Those otherwise estimated artists Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot are now forced to go through the movements, and they give the boring versions of their lives.”
Brian Viner from Daily Mail gave Snow White two of the five stars and called it a “painfully muddy affair” and “Pallid Reimagining” but admitted that Zegler “clearly has talent.”

“Disney's distorted attempts to insult anyone, somehow managed to insult everyone,” Viner noted.
