Although the parent company, Berkshire Hathaway, earned $ 334.2 billion in income last year, this year it suddenly closed 25 Dairy Queen stores in Texas.
Various items from the stores, such as grills and refrigerators, were kept at an auction in February, which have since ended.
All locations were owned by one franchisee, who operates the remaining stores in Texas.
“We don't give public comments on contract conditions,” said a spokesperson in February.
“After these closures, Texas will continue to lead the country in the number of DQ restaurants.”
