'Different' people were injured in a horrible stack of six vehicles that saw a truck break through the central reserve before they crashed against other road users.
Part of the M60 -fast road near Salford remains closed and the emergency services are currently on site.
A statement from Greater Manchester Police (GMP) is: 'We respond to a collision on the M60 -fast road on Junction 15 in Swinton with an HGV that crosses the central reserve, to the opposite track, before we go into the dike.

'At about 7 p.m. tonight (20/03/2025) the HGV crashed in six vehicles.
'The M60 is closed clockwise and against the clock between Junction 15 and 16. Several people have been injured and paramedics are on the spot.
'We ask motorists to avoid this part of the M60 tonight. Your patience is appreciated because emergency services continue to offer medical assistance and investigating the incident. '
National motorways said: “At least one vehicle that has been crossed by the central reservation barrier,” said National motorways.
They added: “The road is probably closed for some time.”
The highway is closed both sides with diversions.
