Michelle Obama unveiled the real reason why she did not answer the call from the Democrats to run president and says that it will “never happen.”
The former First Lady had a candid conversation about her feelings about politics when she sat down with Kylie Kelce in the episode of 20 March of Kelce's not Gonna Lie Podcast.
She made it clear that although Democrats have approached her several times about running for president, she would do Never think about it because of the effect it would have on daughters Malia and Sasha.
“I was so happy when we came from the White House,” she told Kelce.

Obama said she was worried about the effect of growing up in such a public environment on daughters Malia, 26, and Sasha, 23.
The girls were nine and seven when Barack Obama became the 44th president of the United States in January 2009.
“I wanted them to have the freedom not to have the eyes of the world on them,” she said about her girls.
“They still have to deal with paparazzi and are who they are and try to eliminate their own identity.”
That's why, she said, she would never be a candidate for political office.
'So if people ask me, I would ever run, the answer is no. If you ask me that, then you have absolutely no idea that the sacrifice will make your children if your parents are in that role. '

But the former First Lady – who campaigned last year for Kamala Harris – was clear that she was not interested in striving for the office itself.
She added: “I am not only interested in politics that way, but the thought of bringing my girls back into those spotlights when they just settled – we have done enough.”

The 'question [has been] Asked and answered 'and' will never happen ', she said.
She said about her daughters: 'They have already served their time. … it would be unthinkable. No.'
