A Mickey Mouse mascot is hunted by the police after he reportedly pose with tourists before he launched a knife attack and raised cash from victims.
The Mouse-Eared Mugger dresses as the Disney character complete with what looks like an authentic replica ears, just like the real thing in the Magic Kingdom in Disneyland.
But visitors to the tourist magnet via Toledo in Naples, Italy, say that the similarity stops when families refuse to pay him for having their photos taken.
Now the local MP Francesco Emilio Borrelli has sent a file on the rodent feather to the police after a voter said he had drawn a knife.
Deputy Borrelli said: 'We get a lot of reports on this subject that, disguised as Mickey Mouse, threatens and prints money from tourists and citizens who take photos.
“In some videos, users claimed that the man is also armed with a knife.”
He added: 'We cannot allow these kinds of people to act undisturbed in the tourist areas of the city, damage the image of Naples and create a climate of fear between citizens and visitors.
'We have received various reports and videos that show worrying postures, including an alleged episode of Threat with a weapon.

“I want an investigation to achieve the facts and if the allegations are confirmed, he will be caught and tackled.”
Borrelli calls for 'mouse trap' patrols to catch the blades in the act while troubling children and their parents.
He said, “Naples cannot be held hostage to those who think they can do the way they want without any respect for the law.”
Tourists went to social media to talk about her experience with the imitator.
The woman said: 'I was super excited and let my daughter take a picture with Mickey Mouse.
'Only now I have discovered that he is going around with a knife and removes his knife on someone who does not give him money. Thank goodness we have escaped. '
