Detroit Pistons -star Malik Beasley separated from model woman Montana Yao weeks after he seemed to go to another Instagram model.
Beasley's lawyer Steven Haney tells DailyMail.com that he submitted the divorce documents to the third judicial circuit in Wayne County, Michigan on Thursday. Dailymail.com has contacted the court's office for records.
Yao served from Beasley weeks earlier, Haney confirms. At the time, DailyMail.com was told that Yao was registering a divorce, but Haney now says that it was incorrect and she only applied for a divorce.
TMZ and People.com were the first to report the split on March 4, four years after he was caught an affair with the ex-wife of Scottie Pips, Larsa.
