Former Love Island winner Jack Fincham shone when he successfully destroyed his six-week prison sentence after an appeal to his conviction for possessing a dangerous dog that got out of hand.
The reality TV star was originally convicted in January 2025 after his Black Cane Corso, Elvis, wounded carpet Robert Sudell in Swanley, Kent, in September 2022.
The 32-year-old looked miserable when he was wearing a night bag in front of the court as he was confronted with a prison sentence he came out of the building that beamed from joy and gave a thumb up after his postponement.
He only spoke to confirm his name and wore a long brown overcoat with a light brown cardigan underneath.
Instead, his conditional punishment of 18 months for a drug behavior in March 2024 was extended by three months.
Fincham, who was guilty of the indictment, was confronted with two separate incidents in which his dog was involved.
Mr Sudell left the first attack with an injury, while a second incident saw the calf of a woman grabbing in June 2024 – although no injury was reported.
As part of his original punishment to the court of the magistrates, Fincham was ordered to pay £ 3,680, including a contribution of £ 2,000 to Knoweling costs, a fine of £ 961 and £ 200 compensation to Mr Sudell.
Richard Cooper, for Fincham, said that the dog incident happened in June 2024 when Fincham had just moved to the building and brought boxes out of the car – while he did, the dog slid out '.

The court had initially handed Fincham a prison sentence, referring to his omission to meet the conditions set after the first attack, including keeping Elvis on a lead and wearing a snout.
The Legal team of Fincham, however, successfully argued that immediate prison sentence was too loud.
Richard Cooper defending said: 'It is a stupid thing due to a lack of attention to detail. He should have made inquiry [before taking his dog to the pub unleashed].
'This is his own problems, but there has been remarkable progress by Mr. Fincham through his own will and hard work.
“He hit rock floor without work three years ago, he noticed that he regularly surrendered to alcohol and drugs.
“His work dried up. But to his honor, it is what he has done to put it right. He has involved councilors. He has returned to a 9-5 job that does not act on anything than hard work. He has returned to boxing. '
The success of the profession means that Fincham will now avoid prison, but must still meet strict conditions with regard to Elvis. These include that the dog is always involved in public and leash and not alone with someone under the age of 16.
Samanth Leigh, said as she gave her judgment: 'We agree that the activation of the conditional punishment was not alone. We will replace that with an extension of three months as a conditional sentence. It would not be appropriate to change the other sentence imposed. '
She added: 'Mr Fincham, you have to be very careful now. It is never the fault of the dog, it is always the fault of the owners. '
Fincham was spared prison in March after he had taken his £ 50,000 car during a cocaine binge.

Despite the controversies in the past, Fincham continued to defend his pet. He was previously confronted with a recoil for importing Elvis from Russia in 2021, because the dog had cut his ears – a practice that was illegal in the UK.

When I was approached by MailOnline, Richard Cooper said: 'We have always considered the first decision of the magistrates as hard and unjust.
