Firefighters hurried to one of the busiest roads in London today after a truck erupted in flames.
Dramatic images of the scene show a pillar of black smoke that rises from behind a bridge on the A406 in Wembley.
The video was placed at 11.37 am and fire engines try to take the fire like huge plumes from the truck container.
The truck cabin was not attached to the container in the clip.
London Fire Brigade confirmed that the eastern road between the pendant Lane and A404 Junctions was closed.
The cause of the explosion is currently unknown, but it has been confirmed that the truck brought scrap.
Directors are advised to avoid the area, because considerable traffic delays are expected.

A spokesperson for London Fire Brigade told MailOnline: 'Firefighters were on the site of a truck fire on the A406 North Circular in Park Royal.
'A truck trailer with scrap was on fire.
'The fire is now out and crews have filled hotspots.
'The A406 is closed in an easterly direction between the pendant strip and A404 nodes, but the roadway has now been reopened, although there are lane closures.
'This incident has caused a major traffic disturbance locally and motorists are advised to continue to avoid the area and find alternative routes.
'The brigade was called up at 10.38 am and two fire engines from Willesden and Acton Fire Stations have been on site.
“A 32 -meter turntable ladder was also at Wembley Fire Station, which was used to put the fire from above.”
