There is currently an important police operation that has left classes of students who could not get home after their school was forced to go to Lockdown.
Dozens of police vehicles swarmed on Friday at noon on a residence on Old Northern Road in Dural, 38 km northwest of Sydney.
The reason for the raid has yet to be revealed and a spokesperson for the New South Wales police refused to comment on the risk of endangering the current operation.
Officers have closed Old Northern Road between Mid Dural Road and Cattai Ridge Road and the intersection of Old Northern Road and Wylds Road.
Several emergency vehicles have placed themselves outside the address and tactical officers were seen who entered the building via the backyard of a neighbor.
An older woman was seen who was accompanied from the neighboring building before being interviewed by officers around 12.30, nine news items.
The episode has forced a local school in the area to stay closed even after the school has finished and parents have told that their children are not allowed to leave.
It is currently unclear whether this operation is linked to the discovery of a deceased man one suburb in Glenorie on March 15.

The police identified the body of John Birch, 39, who was found dead in a nearby paddock just a few hundred meters from the property that is currently surrounded.
Dural residents said they were shocked to see tactical police swarming on their 'sleepy town' on Friday.
“There must be at least 20 police in rioting and masks,” wrote a person on social media.
