Selfish residents change one of the fastest growing suburbs in Australia in an illegal landfill, even though they are home to one of the largest waste deposits in the country.
While residents of Wyndham, in the west of Melbourne, have become used to being mocked because they have lived in addition to a massive sewerage farm, the municipality is also the home base of a tip that receives around 500,000 tons of waste from Melbourne every year.
On Thursday, Daily Mail Australia visited illegal landfills on two properties about 700 meters from a thriving community and even less from Ironbark Fields – the home base of the Western United Football Club of A -League.
The two deserted houses are also placed within 16 km from the tip of Wyndham.
Located in Tarneit, which is mentioned as one of the fastest growing suburbs in Outer Melbourne, the rickety properties along Sayers Road have ended.
Under this discarded loot are sofas, tires, household appliances and mattresses.
Building materials are also dumped en masse, with discarded concrete plates, roof tiles, insulation, carpets and wood spread over the properties.
Gasoline, children's toys, including a play toilet and even a large pedicure spa chair have been left to rot.

The properties themselves are a thorn in the view of the otherwise picturesque terrain, which shares a spectacular view of the nearby Yangs Ranges – a series of granite ridges that are a beacon along the flat Wyndham plains.

“Illegal dumping for Nest is an important and growing problem for all councils.”
