A teenager who is accused of having forced his way to a Jetstar flight, while allegedly armed with a gun has to do with new federal charges, including attempted hijacking.

A joint Task Force for the fight against terrorism investigated the incident at Avalon Airport in Victoria in the afternoon of 6 March.

It was revealed on Friday that the 17-year-old boy was accused of four federal violations in addition to 12 previous state offices.

The federal charges include attacking a member of an aviation team, attempted hijacking, prescribing the safe operation of an aircraft with the intention of killing and harming the safe operation of an aircraft.

A children's field heard on Friday that the teenager may have communicated with a foreign entity or person in connection with the alleged attempted hijacking.

The nature of foreign communication, including the identities of entities or individuals, will be suppressed for three months after a successful application from the Australian Federal Police (AFP) based on national security.

The police claim that the teenager entered the second largest airport in Victoria by a hole in the fence of the chain link before the commercial flight approached on foot.

The teenager, whose name has been suppressed for legal reasons, would have the flight with a shotgun on board and claims to wear explosives.

“I have bombs in my bag,” he would have told passengers.

The recourse order, which has blocked the report on material in a car driven by the teenager, will extend to June this year.

The 17-year-old remains in custody and will be confronted with the court in April.

He is confronted with state violations of carrying out a bomhoax, possession of a firearm, taking the control of an airplane illegal and endangering the safety of an airplane.

The AFP claims that the teenager had placed a 'faux homemade explosive', which was meant to look like it was legitimate.

About 160 passengers were on board the flight that would fly to Sydney.

A sheep farmer from NSW was greeted like a national hero after images arose that he brought down the alleged hijacker.

Barry Clark received free flights from Avalon Airport for life after he arrived at the pilot and others when tackling the 17-year-old on the ground.

The incident was captured by passenger Daniel Defino, who said that Mr. Clark had put him “in a headlock” after the pilot saw the gun and jumped into action.

“He was still silent [and] There was no emotion in his eyes at all. He almost looked fake, it was so scary, “he said.

In images of the incident, Mr. Clark is heard to tell the pilot that he will hold the intruder while others disarm him.

“I don't want to let him go. I don't strangle you, size, but you don't move well? “He said.

During the battle, the pilot removed what seemed to be the barrel of a shotgun. He then kicked the stock of the gun that was already on the floor.

Passengers were encouraged to immediately leave the plane through the back door.

Nobody was physically damaged in the incident.

Bomb response files were called to help.
