The FDA has issued a recall for more than 4,000 bags of a popular cheese sold at Aldi for fear of possible metal contamination.
Aldi's Happy Farms Colby Jack Shredded Cheese was recalled after allegedly fragments of stainless steel were found in the product.
The cheese is only recalled in four states, Connecticut, Michigan, Ohio and Pennsylvania.
The move was initiated by the manufacturer, Great Lakes Cheese Co. Inc., on 15 February, who encouraged the FDA to give a recall on 19 March per Allrecipes.com.
