Jack Draper's Miami Open Match against Jakub Mensik dropped in anarchy while hundreds of Brazilian fans broke out furiously in a change in schedule.
The match after Draper vs Mensik – who eventually lost British no. 1 7-6, 7-6 – was supposed to be the Brazilian sensation Joao Fonseca against Ugo Humbert of France.
The Tribune court is open to every ground pass holder and was therefore packed for most of the day with Brazilians waiting to view their 18-year sensation.
In the meantime, the Healthy Court was quickly progressing and so the organizers had room to switch on an extra match before the night session.
Very unwise, they chose to move Fonseca vs Humbert.

Saturday's game between Draper and Mensik was briefly suspended for angry fans
The change in the schedule was announced to the fans in stands with Mensik who led 4-3 in the second set and the hell broke loose.
Brazilian fans accused the outputs loudly while they went. There were so many that an age was needed to clean them up and the Booing only became more aggressive.
The referee called the end of the switch and Mensik had time to hit one serve before Draper, fairly correct, pointed out that it was impossible to play in such circumstances.

The end result was that Draper vs Mensik ended in a flat and usually empty stadium. Fonseca vs Humbert – who would have been electric if it had stayed in the stands – started about 20 percent in a huge stadium, because it took so long to get all Brazilians ticket and sitting.

The fans who stayed in the stands court witnessed the 19-year-old Czech Mensik who sealed a fully deserved straight set of victory over Draper.

But this result was much more than the sparkle of Mensik and perhaps Draper's first taste of how players can increase their level against a top seed.
It is remarkable that it was the first time that Draper had lost a tour match to a man who has been arranged under him since August.
This always looked like a heavy draw and it proved it. Mensik is a Novak Djokovic Protege, but their gameyles are very different.
The serving of the teenager is already one of the most deadly in the world and his aggressive game has been built there. But he also collects well and has some grace and feeling around the net.
He made a nervous start to give a 3-1 lead to Draper, but came back. In the Tie-Break, Draper missed a backhand and double accused two points to his own Servee and Mensik took his way to a set of lead.
Halfway through the second set a borderline riot started when it was announced that the planned Fonseca match against Humbert was being moved.
Would the delay concentration of the five minutes understand Mensik? Not a bit of it. His serve was as impregnable as always and he got up again in the tiebreak.
Earlier in the day, Draper's childhood friend and countryman Jacob Fearnley was eliminated by No1 Seed Alexander Zverev.
